July 9th, 2012 marks another achievement for #SudanRevolts.
On this day, the doctors of the Republic of Sudan announced the inauguration of the Sudanese Doctors Syndicate after 23 years of suspension.
Dr. Albadwi announced the Doctors Syndicate in the midst of hundreds of doctors loudly cheering and chanting against corruption.
Dr. Nassif Mansour, president of Sudan doctors union UK & Ireland spoke to the crowd through Skype and said that the Doctors Union that is sponsored by the government is weak and corrupted, while doctors attending the inaugural rally continued to cheer loudly, this time for freedom.
An approximate number of 200-300 persons joined this exceptional event, which took place at Khartoum Hospital, regardless of the efforts of the Security Officers who destroyed the banners of the Doctors Union in Khartoum Hospital prior to the announcement.
– Sudanese Doctors Union has been terminated by the NCP in1989, last head Doctor was Dr. Mohamad Hussein.
